Hennessey Performance Engineering is a Texas tuning house that has been rebuilding American performance vehicles since 1991: trucks, muscle cars and supercars leave its shop carrying the Venom name and, on the limited runs, a serialized plaque stating exactly which build the vehicle is. A Hennessey Ford starts life as a real production Ford and is then re-engineered by Hennessey, so what you are buying is a factory truck plus a named conversion, not a one-off garage project.
That name on the fender is the point. Spec hunters do not search for a fast F-150; they search for the exact designation, and the designation is written on the vehicle itself.
Reading the designation
We quote what each vehicle's own record states and stop there. A truck listed as a Venom 800 Supercharged carries that designation from Hennessey, and a serialized edition like the Super Venom GT states its build number and run size on its own plaque; when a listing of ours shows a number like that, it is quoted from the record, not estimated. We do not restate horsepower or performance figures in a guide, because the honest source for those is the build documentation for that specific vehicle.
